Beccles Golf Club

Beccles Golf Club is set on the heath to the north of the Suffork market town of Beccles, Seen by many as the Suffolk Gateway to The Broads

The Golf Club has been in existance since 1899 and is a great place to play golf. The common is on the north side of the town with access via Common Lane. The club itself is voluntary run except for the part time greenkeeper who has transformed the greens back to their former glory.

The course consists of 9 holes varying from par 3’s through to a par 5, all laid out on what many call an inland links setting.

Although there are no bunkers or water on the course there is a lot of gorse and small, fast greens to make good course management a requirement for a good round
